What’s the material used for the earrings posts, fish hooks etc?
We use Titanium for most of our earring post and backs. Titanium is a non-alloy metal. It doesn’t contain Nickel and is considered the preferred material for sensitive ears.
Surgical Steel earring posts are used for small studs (not sold online) and will be slowly phased out in the coming months.
Our fish hook and metal ball studs are made of Stainless Steel. It may not be the best metal for sensitive ears as it’s an alloy that contains a small percentage of Nickel.
If I have sensitive ears, which is the most suitable metal for me?
Every one is sensitive to different materials. Most common allergy is to Nickel, but I’ve also encountered customers who are allergic to Silver and Gold. It’s hard to know know what you’re allergic to unless you’ve tried before.
My recommendation is to try one with Titanium. All my earrings are sealed with resin so the metal base of the earring posts won’t be touching your skin. You can also swap out the metal backs to the rubber backings provided to reduce the exposure of the metal to your skin.
I just received my earrings. Why do they look different from the pictures?
The colour of the picture depends on a variety of factors. Different computers, phones and tablets may display the same colour differently. Sometimes your brightness and contrast settings may affect the colour you view on the website as well.
What form of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, paynow and paylah on our website.
Our popups now also accept credit cards (with a minimum spend of $50), grab pay, paynow, paylah and cash.
How long do you take to mail out my order?
Once we receive your order and confirmation that payment has been made, we will proceed to pack and prepare to mail out your order within the next 1 to 3 days.
We will make sure your earrings are packed and protected properly to prevent damaging during transit.
How will my order be shipped?
All domestic orders will be shipped via Smartpac (from SingPost). Smartpac is a registered post that delivers your package to your mailbox. Your tracking number will be emailed to you once we’ve mail your order out.
All international orders will be mailed out via a registered package from Qxpress. Your tracking number will be emailed to you once we’ve mailed your order out.
I’m sorry but we do not ship any orders via untracked mail.
What happens if I did not receive my parcel?
We suggest that you check with SingPost or Qxpress using the tracking number provided. We are not liable for any mails lost by the shipping company. Do note that there may be delays due to Covid restrictions or surge during peak season.
If you did not receive your tracking number within 3 days from placing your order, do drop us an email with your order number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
How should I take care of my earrings?
An alcohol swab will be included in your package for you to sanitize your earrings before your first wear.
Do keep your earrings away from prolonged exposure to heat and sunlight. You can gently wash them with water but do dry them immediately.
Avoid perfume and any other alcohol or acetone-based products as they remove clay.
I would suggest that you store the earrings in a Ziplock bag and/or a container to prevent breakage caused by any accidents.
What happens if my earrings break?
We are not responsible for any damage caused by wear and tear or any mishandling. But we are willing to assist fixing the earrings at a small cost. Any product that needs to be sent back to us will need to be sent via registered post or Smartpac. Shipping fees incurred to send the item back to us will have to be borne by the sender. Alternatively, you can bring the item to us at one of our physical popup events.
