What’s the material used for the earrings posts and backs, fish hooks etc?

We have Titanium and Surgical Steel post and backs. Our fish hook comes in Surgical Steel, Gold plated Surgical Steel, and Silver and Stainless Steel. 

Titanium is a non-alloy metal. It doesn’t contain Nickel and is considered the preferred material for sensitive ears.

Surgical Steel is a common hypoallergenic metal available in the market. Unlike what the name suggest, it may not be the best metal for sensitive ears as it’s an alloy that contains a small percentage of Nickel.

 

If I have sensitive ears, which is the most suitable metal for me?

Every one is sensitive to different materials. Some of us are allergic to Nickel, whereas some are allergic to Silver and Gold. It’s best if you know what you’re allergic to. If you’ve used Surgical Steel before and know it works for you, I would suggest that you stick to it. Otherwise, you can try Titanium first.

The only 100% safe way to really know what works for you is to try it.

 

I just received my earrings. Why do they look different from the pictures?

The colour of the picture depends on a variety of factors. Different computers, phones and tablets may display different the same colour differently. Sometimes your brightness and contrast settings may affect the colour you view on the website.

 

What payment modes do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal and manual payment modes (paynow, paylah and ibanking). Our preferred payment modes are paynow and paylah.

 

How long do you take to mail out my order?

Once we receive your order and confirmation that payment has been made, we will proceed to pack and prepare to mail out your order within the next 1 to 3 days.

 

How will my order be packed?

Every earring comes with a earring card and protected by a small plastic bag. It is then bubble-wrapped and packed in a box prior to mailing.

 

How will my order be shipped?

We have chosen to ship our Singapore orders via SmartPac (from SingPost) to prevent any lost mails. They come with a tracking number which will be emailed to you once we’ve mail your order out.

As of 1st November, SingPost has announced that all SmartPac will be delivered to your mailbox. You can read more below.

All international orders will be mailed out via a registered post from Singapore Post. Tracking number will be emailed to you once we’ve mailed your order out.

 

What happens if I did not receive my parcel?

We suggest that you check with SingPost using the tracking number provided. We are not liable for any mails lost by SingPost.

If you did not receive your tracking number within 3 days from placing your order, do drop us an email with your order number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

How should I take care of my earrings?

An alcohol swab will be included in your package for you to sanitize your earrings before your first wear.

Do keep your earrings away from prolonged exposure to heat and sunlight. You can gently wash them with water but do dry them immediately.

Avoid perfume and any other alcohol-based products as alcohol removes clay.

I would suggest that you store the earrings in a Ziplock bag and/or a container to prevent breakage caused by any accidents.

 

What happens if my earrings break or the posts/backs came off?

We are not responsible for any damage caused by wear and tear or any mishandling. But we are willing to assist fixing the earrings at a small cost. Any product that needs to be sent back to us will need to be sent via registered post or Smartpac. Shipping fees incurred to send the item back to us will have to be borne by the sender.
